Bénéteau : le nouvel exercice pourrait être impacté par la crise

Le chiffre d’affaires de l’exercice 2007/08 (clos au 31 août) « conforte l’objectif du groupe d’atteindre un résultat opérationnel de plus de 150 millions d’euros », précise Bénéteau dans un communiqué, alors qu’il tablait précédemment sur un chiffre d’affaires de 1,087 milliard.

Les ventes de bateaux progressent de 7,8% à 860,7 millions et les habitats de loisirs de 32,4% à 203,6 millions.

Toutefois, l’ouverture de la saison 2009 est marquée par « l’impact de la crise bancaire et financière qui génère momentanément un attentisme chez certains clients », souligne le groupe.

« Le rythme de commandes de la saison 2008/09 sera ainsi très différent de celui connu les années passées, avec selon les pays, des prises de commandes plus tardives », prévient-il.

Pour le nouvel exercice, Bénéteau « confirme sa volonté d’accélérer sa croissance en se développant sur deux nouveaux marchés », avec les bateaux à moteur de plus de 15 mètres et la fabrication de maisons à ossature en bois.

La production de ces maisons devrait commencer en septembre 2009 en Vendée avec une capacité de production de 600 logements par an.

Concernant les bateaux à moteur de plus de 15 mètres, les premiers « apparaîtront sur le marché dès la saison prochaine ».
